They say, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”. Well, consider us officially flattered.

It has come to our attention that counterfeit Slick-Pak is being sold in Russia and other CIS countries. We were informed by our Russian distributor, Slick Spb in St. Petersburg, last month about the illegal distribution.

“The bags look very similar to regular Slick-Pak bags ” says Alexander Istomin, Director of Slick Spb in Russia. “You need to know what you are looking for in order to spot a forgery. The outer bag of the counterfeit material is made with polypropylene which makes it harder, as opposed to regular Slick-Pak bags which are made with polyethylene and much softer. There is also an eye spot on the counterfeit bags, as well as no accent marks on the Spanish side of the bag.”

This counterfeit material originates from the company “SPETSAVTO” from the city of Krasnodar in Russia. They are not authorized to sell Slick-Pak or any Fritz-Pak branded products. If you suspect you might have counterfeit material, please contact our Russian distributor at +7-906-272-0747. Fritz-Pak will be taking steps to counteract forgeries in the future by adding a holograms on the boxes of all shipments to Russia.

“While the bags do look like authentic Slick-Pak bags, the counterfeit material inside is of a very poor quality,” says Alexander. “It would be dangerous to use this material thinking it will perform the same as the real Slick-Pak. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any suspicions at all.”
